How are payments made?

All online payments are made through Paypal, one of the most highly respected and trusted financial agencies in the world. We do not store your financial information and cannot be held liable for disclosure of any financial information by a third party.

If you do not want to pay on line you can either phone us and let us have your credit card details or let us know what you want by phone or post & send a cheque. . If you chose to pay by giving us your credit card details over the phone we input those details directly onto Barclaycards secure web site for approval. We do not keep any records of your financial information.

How are orders processed?

You will need to register with urbastyle before you can purchase anything from us online. We ask that you register so we know who you are and where to send your order. Your details are held so you only have to input them once.

  1. Choose what you wish to purchase from the web site and place them in your shopping cart by clicking on the “add to cart” button on the individual product page.
  2. You will then be directed to a login page, once logged in you will be directed to a checkout page itemizing everything you have selected along with prices.
  3. If you wish to proceed you must click the checkout button, you will then be asked to verify your billing details and provide shipping details. You will be asked to confirm your order details one last time then once you press the submit order button you will be directed to Paypal to make the credit card payment.
  4. Once Paypal has verified your payment they will send you and us your order details by email.
  5. To complete your purchase ensure you click the "Return to Urba Style" button
  6. We will then send you an email confirming your order details and pointing out your right to cancel.

Alternatively you can place your order by phone & give us your credit card details or post a cheque or send your order by post & include a cheque. Note that we will have to wait for the cheque to clear before we can dispatch your order, this usually takes 5 working days. You can track your orders online by logging in and going to your account page.

Can I change my mind?

If you change your mind, for whatever reason, you may cancel your order within 7 days of receiving it. Please see our Returns section for full details.

Who pays for returns?

If you wish to return something that is faulty or not what you ordered; we do. If you want to return something because you’ve changed your mind; you do. Please see our Returns section for full details.

What is the Data Protection Act?

The Data Protection Act was passed in 1998. Broadly speaking it was introduced to protect the individual’s right to privacy. It covers all information from which an individual can be identified and applies to any company which holds information about people electronically or on paper.
Any organization which holds such information must follow eight protection principles of good information handling, i.e. it must be;

  • Fairly and lawfully processed
  • Processed for specified purposes
  • Adequate, relevant and not excessive
  • Accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date
  • Not kept for longer than necessary
  • Processed in line with the rights of the individual
  • Kept secure
  • Not transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area.

Does Urbastyle comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Act?

Yes it does. We ask you for the minimum information we need to provide you with the excellent service you expect. Any information that you give us is confidential and will not be passed on to any third party. Please see our Privacy policy section for full details. If yo pay online, we do not store any of your sensitive financial information as these payments are processed securely by PayPal

What guarantees do you offer?

We offer a “no quibble” guarantee. If the goods you receive are faulty or not what you ordered, just inform us within 7 days of receiving it and we will replace or refund the price, including delivery, and return postage costs within 14 days of us receiving the item back.

All products supplied by urbastyle carry a 12 month guarantee, unless stated otherwise on the product page. If a fault develops within that period we will repair or replace the faulty item at our discretion. We will refund you any return delivery costs within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

How do I track my order?

You can track your order online by logging on and going to your account page. This will list all your orders with their current status. The login button can be found in the top right hand corner of each page.

How accurate is the information you provide?

All the information we supply on the product pages is as accurate as we can make it. Most of it will come from the manufacturer, importer or distributor we get it from. We check these details as much as possible but cannot be held liable for any inaccuracies or discrepancies there may be.

What happens if I don’t log out?

You could potentially allow others who might use the same computer to access your account information saved in the memory of the browser until you log out or close the browser session. Your login and cart is stored using Cookies and Sessions. Once you have completed your purchase through Paypal and returned to the Urbastyle web site, all these are cleared automatically, If you wish to order again, you will need to log back in.
In all other instances, to protect your privacy, we recommend you always log out after finishing a session.

Do you hold stock?

We hold stock for most of the items that appear on the website, occasionally we may run out of stock or supply products that are custom made or supplied to special order. The stock or delivery situation is made clear on the individual product pages.
We reserve the right to alter or delete any item displayed without prior notice but will advise you of any changes prior to shipping.

Do I have to pay for delivery?

There is a delivery charge of £5 for orders of less than £50.

How will my goods be delivered?

Smaller items will be sent by the Royal Mail. Larger items will be dispatched by a commercial carrier.

Are you based in the UK?

Yes we are. Urbastyle is run solely by AllScope Projects Limited a family owned manufacturing company based in Burnley, Lancashire.
